Seaside Sights

Moll d'Espanya

On our last day in Barcelona we went to Mercat de Santa Caterina in the morning and grabbed some jamón ibérico and cheese and fresh fruit juice (more about the market in my travel guide coming soon). Then we headed over here to the harbor on the Mediterranean Sea for a picnic. It was probably one of my favorite things that we did while there because it was a beautiful day and we just took in the sights while relaxing on the water. That ship behind me was giving me major Pirates of the Caribbean vibes too ;).

I snatched this scarf up while I was there a few days earlier. A few posts ago I talked about the way Spanish women wear scarves so artfully and I was definitely inspired by them. A beautiful scarf is just such a great way to add interest and layer without adding bulk when it gets a little chilly. I think I may have worn a  scarf every day I was there :).
