It’s beginning to feel like spring! I cannot tell you how excited I am about that. Growing up in LA, spring was just a cooler summer so living in Michigan has taught me its true significance. After all the cold snow and cloudy days I am ready for a fresh season! The fact that lilac/lavender is on trend right now makes me so very happy. This lilac blouse from Mango satisfies my love of lavender and the sleeves are everything! Being petite, I often have to have my sleeves hemmed but the elastic on this sleeve lets me just push them up. Bonus – it shows off your arm candy too!
I am also loving my new glasses from Bonlook! If you wear glasses, you know how hard it can be to find frames that are stylish, affordable, and fit right. I have searched hi and low for a place that ticks all those boxes and I am so happy to have found one! Here’s what I love about them:
1) They have a beautiful variety of frames. The pair I chose are called “Eclipse” and they come in my new fave color lilac! I may also have added these aviators to my cart ;).
2) They are affordable. Most pairs are $99 including lenses. Depending on your prescription you may need to pay an additional $29 for thin lenses.
3) They measure your PDP. This is an important step for making sure your frames fit you perfectly. When I have ordered from other online retailers that don’t ask for that I end up with glasses that fall off my face. Ditto did this and they used to be my go-to place but unfortunately they don’t exist anymore :(. So when I found Bonlook and saw that they asked for my PDP along with my prescription I knew I’d found my new place!
4) They format their receipts for your Flex Spending Account. If you have a Flex Spending Account you know how picky they are about the format of the receipts you submit for reimbursement. I can’t tell you how many times I have to ask my doctor’s office to re-format their receipt so my flex account will accept it. The fact that I didn’t have to do that makes me so very happy!
