You’ve probably heard it said that the accessories are what make an outfit. With the right accessories you can make jeans red-carpet-ready or a floor length dress laid-back enough for a picnic. I personally find it much more interesting to mix it up like that. Pairing unexpected items makes an outfit creative and cool. Here I’ve paired ripped jeans with a vintage hermes scarf and crystal crawlers. I love that I can elevate my favorite comfy jeans by adding a scarf or jewelry (or both) and now I have an outfit ready for almost anywhere – dinner with friends, date night, or even work (depending on your office dress code).
